Wallpaper is definitely back in style, not only in Houston but in the entire country. It seems that what’s old is new again, and many people who never thought of wallpaper five years ago are eager to try it out. However, once you finally pick out your pattern (after a dozen samples), the carpet or hardwood floors to match it, and the coordinating fixtures, you’ll still have one problem left.
“How we get this wallpaper installed,” you’ll be thinking.

Real paper hanging is more than just hanging a long piece of paper on a wall. It’s detailed work that takes years to perfect. And it takes a different skill level depending on the wall, material, adhesive, and repeat.
For example, a solid vinyl floral print in the kitchen will require a completely different process than a natural grasscloth in the guest bedroom. Random reversible patterns require you to reverse the sheets with every new roll to eliminate shading. Certain patterns call for the adhesive to be applied on the wall (aka paste the wall) while others require you to add the paste to the back of the wallpaper (paste the sheet).
Our job is to take the guesswork of installing wallpaper off your hands. We do our job efficiently and economically. The process works like this:
- You call us and tell us when about the job
- You send a picture of the room
- You show what wallpaper needs to be installed
- We give you a quote
- We arrange a time to come out
Note: Sometimes, I want to see the actual job before giving any firm quotes or estimates. Many times, I find there are additional obstacles that need to be taken into account, which affects the final quote and time frame.
